Just Another Maple And Walnut Cutting Board

Posted on January 4, 2021

Lately, I have been making a few cutting boards in my spare time. If you have the right tools they can be fairly easy to batch out and go from raw wood to a beautiful finished piece in just a few days. (Unlike loft beds which seem to take years.) I love running them through the planer to remove all the dried glue and unevenness to uncovered the pattern beneath. Then to apply a few coats of mineral oil to pop that grain and bring out the natural beauty of the wood.

With all the cutting boards I have been making I decided to release out into the world another maple and walnut cutting board video. With the help of two of my kids, I hope I have released the most entertaining (and slightly sarcastic) one on YouTube.

Make sure to follow me on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to keep up with all my latest projects!
